Packing Machine Heating Rod Replacement and Troubleshooting Guide

1. Heating Rod Identification and Replacement

Open the relevant part of the packing machine and refer to the first and second small images below the main photo to check the color of the wires. Once identified, please order the required parts.

Replacement of Top and Lower Temperature Heating Rods

If there is an issue with the Top temperature heating rod (responsible for sealing the left and right sides of the pouch) or the lower temperature heating rod (responsible for sealing the top and bottom of the pouch), both the top or lower temperature heating rods should be replaced as a set of 2.

Sealing Issues and Heating Rod Replacement

After turning on the machine, a melody should play, and the left and right indicator lights should begin blinking within 5–10 minutes. This signals that the top and bottom heating rods have reached the correct temperature.

• If neither light blinks, it may indicate a sealing issue, and the heating rods might need replacement.

• If only one light blinks while the other remains solid, the non-blinking side likely has a faulty heating rod.

• If the lights blink late or not at all, the temperature sensor inside the heating rod may be damaged, and the rod should be replaced.

2. Types and Specifications of Heating Rods

Heating Rod Types

• Two-Wire Heating Rod (Standard Heating Rod): A heating rod with 2 wires.

• Four-Wire Heating Rod (Sensor Heating Rod): A heating rod with 4 wires, which includes a sensor.

Specifications:

• Diameter: 1.25 cm

• Length: 16.25 cm

Replacement Method

• Check the faulty heating rod with a tester, and if the wires are broken, replace it.

• When replacing, carefully mark the wire colors of the broken part and connect them in the same way.

3. Sensor Heating Rod Replacement Information

Non-Polarized Heating Rod

• The packaging machine currently uses a 4-wire (2 black, 2 red) non-polarized heating rod.

• The polarized heating rod (4-wire, 2 blue, 2 red) is no longer used, but can be replaced with a non-polarized (2 black, 2 red) rod, ensuring that when replacing blue wires with black, the wattage between the blue and black wires differs. Therefore, all 4 heating rods (2 ambient and 2 lower temperature) must be replaced.

Polarized vs. Non-Polarized Heating Rods

• Polarized Heating Rod: Composed of 4 wires (2 black, 1 white, 1 red). This rod is no longer used in current packaging machines. The white wire has a + and - connection, while the red wire acts as the sensor (on/off).

• Non-Polarized Heating Rod: Composed of 4 wires (2 black, 2 red). There is no polarity, and the red wires function as the sensor.

Important Note:

• Polarized and non-polarized heating rods should not be used together as a set.

• If non-polarized heating rods are out of stock, you may substitute with polarized heating rods, but you cannot use polarized and non-polarized heating rods together.

4. Other Precautions

Roll Pouch Sealing Issues

Before replacing the heating rods, ensure to clean off any medication residue stuck to the first and second rollers using a soft sponge (such as a cotton sponge). Areas where foreign substances remain may not seal properly, so cleaning is essential before continuing with the replacement.

포장기의 해당 부분을 열어 Main 사진 밑에 있는 첫번째와 두번째의 작은사진과 같이 어떤 색깔의 Wire가 장착되어 있는지 확인을 하신 후 주문을 부탁드립니다.

상온도 히터봉(파우치의 왼면, 오른면의 접착 담당)에 문제가 있어서 히터봉을 교체시에는 상온도 히터봉 2개를 세트로 교체해야하며 마찬가지로 하온도 히터봉(파우치의 윗면과 아랫면의 접착 담당)에 문제가 있어서 히터봉을 교체시에도 하온도 히터봉 2개를 세트로 교체해야 합니다. 

<파우치의 접착에 문제가 있는데 아래와 같이 좌우로 불이 깜박이지 않으면 히터봉을 교체해야 한다.>

상온도와 하온도는 멜로디가 울리고 5분~10분 정도 지나면 좌우로 불이 깜박이게 된다. 그런데 사용하다보면 한쪽은 불이 들어와 깜박거리는데 한쪽은 그대로 고정되어 있는 경우가 있다. 열의 온도를 감지해 주는 히터봉(Heating Rod) 불량이다.

 히터봉 안에는 온도를 감지해 주는 화약가루처럼 생긴 분말이 들어있는데 이 물질이 달아서 온도 감지를 제대로 못해주면 불이 깜박거리지 않거나 늦게 깜박거린다. 이런 경우에는 히터봉(Heating Rod)을 교체하여야 한다.

전선이 네개인 것은 센서선이 있는 센서히터봉이고 두선인 것은 일반히터봉입니다.

<교환 방법>
고장난 히터봉을 테스트기로 점검하여 선이 끊어졌다면 교체하셔야 합니다.
항상 교환하실 때는 고장난 부품의 선과 기계와 연결되는 선을 절단하기 전에 선의 색깔별로 잘 표시하여 그대로만 연결하면 됩니다. 

상온도 히터봉(파우치의 왼면, 오른면의 접착 담당)에 문제가 있어서 히터봉을 교체시에는 상온도 히터봉 2개를 세트로 교체해야하며 마찬가지로 하온도 히터봉(파우치의 윗면과 아랫면의 접착 담당)에 문제가 있어서 히터봉을 교체시에도 하온도 히터봉 2개를 세트로 교체해야 합니다. 

<기타>

센서히타봉 4선에 검정2, 빨강2 이렇게 구성된 히타봉은 무극성으로 현재 생산중인 포장기에 사용하고 있습니다.

센서히터봉 4선(파랑 2, 빨강 2)은 센서히터봉(검정 2, 빨강 2)으로 호환이 가능합니다.

***센서히터봉(파랑 2, 빨강 2)은 더 이상 취급하지 않습니다.)***

파란색을 검정색으로 대체하여 교체하실 때에는 파란선과 검정선의 와트수가 틀리므로 이 경우에는 히터봉 4개(상온도 히터봉 2개와 하온도 히터봉 2개)를 모두 다 교체해야 합니다.

1. 센서히타봉 4선에 (검정 2선, 흰색 1선, 빨강 1선) 이렇게 구성된 히타봉은 극성으로 최근 포장기에는 사용하지 않습니다.

극성인 경우 흰색이 +, - 접전이 있는것 입니다. 그리고, 빨강이 센서역활(켜졌다꺼졌다)을 합니다.

2. 센서히타봉 4선에 (검정 2선, 빨강 2선)이렇게 구성된 히타봉은 무극성으로 지금 포장기에 사용하고 있습니다. 

무극성인 경우에는 접전이 없고, 빨강 2선이 센서역활을 합니다.

센서히타봉 4선을 세트로 교체시 극성과 무극성을 함께 사용하시면 안됩니다.

히터봉 4선 무극성이 재고가 없을때 히터봉 4선 극성으로 대체사용해도 됩니다.

단, 무극성과 극성을 함께 사용하시면 안됩니다.

기타)

롤 파우치의 접착문제: 히터봉을 교체하기 전에 먼저 첫번째 롤러, 두번째 롤러등에 눌러붙은 약물 찌꺼기 등을 깨끗하게 부드러운 수세미(면 수세미)등을 이용하여 청소하여야 함. 이물질이 들러붙어 있는 부위에 해당하는 비닐부분은 잘 접착되지 않음.
