Experience fast, targeted warmth with this energy-efficient infrared heat lamp bulb from Feit Electric. This 250-watt dimmable red incandescent flood R40 reflector heat lamp generates more warmth than a standard incandescent light. Operating in the mid-infrared range (1300–3000nm) with a peak wavelength around 2000nm, it delivers deep, comfortable heat that warms people, food, and surfaces directly, not just the air. The result is quick, consistent warmth that feels natural and soothing. It operates at 120 volts with an E26 base to fit standard medium base sockets. Heat lamps are commonly found in restaurants to prevent freshly prepared, hot dishes from cooling down before being delivered to the customer. Other practical uses include plant germination and keeping bathrooms warm in colder months. This bulb is rated to last an average of 2,000 hours. Get a dependable Feit Electric specialty bulb for all your general household and business needs.

A slight buzzing or humming sound from a 250W incandescent infrared bulb may be normal when the bulb is operated through a heat-intensity control. Electronic dimming can cause the bulb filament to vibrate, especially at mid-range settings. The same bulb may operate quietly when connected to a lamp without an intensity-control circuit.

*IMPORTANT: Please make sure to wear light clothing when using. DO NOT USE ON BARE SKIN.

*Note: Please do not exert excessive force when inserting the bulb into the socket as the bulb may crack. DO NOT allow hot bulb to come in contact with liquid and or metal part of fixture as glass may shatter.

**Note 2: The distance between the lamp and surface area must be greater than 18" from the surface and not less than 18".
